HR Generalist - FMAL/OFLA

Job Description Kelly Services is seeking a well qualified HR Generalist for our client.
This role will perform in all realms of the HR function but focus on leave law administration related to FMAL and OFLA.
In addition, this position will hold responsibility of processing payroll.
Administers associate leave programs including analysis of FMLA/OFLA claims to determine eligibility and certification in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Establish FMLA/OFLA claims; track and code documentation in accordance with internal workflow processes.
Coordinate with disability, workers comp and PTO plans.
Prepare communications as needed.
Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2-5 years of Human Resources related experience required, including at least one year in Payroll preferred.
Prior FMLA/OFLA a must.
2 years of experience in high volume leave law administration with decision making responsibilities.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office required, especially in Excel and experience with an HRIS system a plus.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field strongly preferred, but may consider equivalent combination of education and work experience.
HR Certification a plus.
Strong organization skills/attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines Knowledge of applicable HIPPA laws and maintains confidentiality at all timesOther skills and abilities:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
