Greenhouse Laboratory Technician
Greenhouse/Laboratory Technician (Must be Local to Woodburn/Portland Area) Working Hours:

Today, Kelly Services is searching for a Greenhouse Lab Technician to join the team at a Fortune 500 Agroscience Company in located in Woodburn, OR.
This Lab Technician role will support plant research projects to include performance of duties such as planting, seed sterilization, transplanting, controlled pollinations, tissue collection, plant and seed analysis.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Assisting the plant research projects team in the execution of screens for evaluating plant performance.
Planting, seed sterilization, transplanting, controlled pollinations, tissue collection, plant and seed analysis.
Producing high quality plant materials and collecting measurement data.
Routine greenhouse operations:
soil preparation, filling pots, sowing seeds, irrigating, harvesting and clean up.
Operating within stringent safety and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Biology, Botany, Plant Genetics, Plant Molecular Biology, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering or a related field is required.
Ability to perform physical labor under greenhouse conditions, including lifting 25 lbs and tolerating high temperatures for brief periods is required.
Good communication skills and computer skills including familiarity with standard office programs are required.
