9 Woodburn, OR Woodburn, OR Full-time Full-time $23 - $26 an hour $23 - $26 an hour Estimator will be responsible for project take-offs, conceptual development and estimating of pre-engineered metal building, project specifications review, preliminary value engineering, creating contracts and contract review.
This position requires you to work in office at the Woodburn, OR.
Location.
The Design Estimator will need to be detailed oriented and able to interpret architectural drawings, structural drawings and civil drawings for the purpose of defining customer design intent.
Effective use of MBS software to model, pre-design and estimate complex building structures of pre-engineered metal building projects.
Estimator to provide technical expertise and cost-effective design solutions to our sales department and customers.
Preparation and delivery of technical presentations to aid sales team with value engineering approaches.
Prepare conceptual and scope drawings for use by sales teams, customers, and engineering department teams.
Works with internal and external project parties to perform value engineering analyses.
Meet with sales teams, customers, architects, and all relevant parties of prospective projects.
Qualifications Experience with MBS or other structural analysis software Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings Experience with statics and steel design.
Writing of contracts and contract review Strong math skills, including trigonometry and adding/subtracting imperial measurements Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Job Type:
